Project Human Resource Management - Overview

This includes the processes that organize, manage, and lead the project team.  The team has assigned roles and responsibilities for completed the project. They can have a variety of skill sets and either work part-time or full-time. The project management team is responsible for the leadership and management of various project phases.

We will review four processes in this Knowledge Area.

1. Plan Human Resource Management - process of identifying and documenting project roles, responsibilities, required skills, reporting relationships, and creating a staffing management plan. 
2. Acquire Project Team - process of confirming human resource availability and obtaining the team necessary to complete project activities. 
3. Develop Project Team - process of improving competencies, team member interaction and overall team environment to enhance project performance
4. Manage Project Team - process of tracking team member performance, providing feedback, resolving issues, and managing changes to optimize project performance
